My pee wee soccer player

Kayden started pee wee soccer last weekend. I figured he'd spend the entire practice clinging to my leg, but he surprised us all by jumping right in there! He ran around and practiced kicking the ball into the goal. When we left, he kept talking about how much he wanted to play again. Whew!

Play Date

The Tibbetts came over today to enjoy the sunshine. The kids had fun blowing bubbles and playing on the slide and on the trampoline.

The Spring Fair

We took Kayden to the Spring Fair on Sunday afternoon. We only rode one ride. Kayden was more interested in the games. He won 3 prizes. Bella was such a trooper too!

Activity Center

I brought the activity center in the house (thanks Jen!) and set it up with doubt....thinking Bella wouldn't be able to use it yet. Boy, did she surprise me! She loves this thing, so much in fact, that she now balks when I lay her on her activity mat or put her in her bouncy chair. She's tired of laying down and wants to be up. At least with this thing, I don't have to carry her around all the time. Her first mission when I first put her in? To "taste" everything.

Easter Egg Hunt

We had an Easter Egg hunt on Saturday, with all the kids and their families from our playgroup. I think Kayden got the most eggs. His basket was almost completely full! It was cold, but the kids didn't really seem to notice.

Making Easter Eggs

We made Easter Eggs tonight. Kayden had lots of fun putting on the stickers.

An afternoon at the park

We went to the park the other day, when the weather was nice. It felt almost like summer, but now is back to spring-like weather with no sun and lots of rain. Kayden was glad to get out of the house and Bella got to wear a cute hat.

Spring has arrived!

Well, spring finally made its debut today. The sun was shining and it was nice out. Plenty warm if you stood in sun, didn't move and there was no breeze...but hey, no rain makes for a great day! We snapped lots of pics of everyone playing. This is only the second time it's been warm enough for me to venture outside with Bella. She seemed to have a good time. James and I took turns watching her and playing with Kayden. Tomorrow looks to be promising as well. I think we are going to hit the antique stores in Sumner.

We were playing Patty Cake. It never fails to make her laugh.
